Padua, Italy, is where the Renaissance began. Back in that time, it was the cultural capital of Europe.
Today, Padua is showcasing an exhibition of paintings by Ukrainian artists, including the deceased Freikorps soldier and Kharkiv resident Artem Azarov (known as "Artist").
It is difficult to surprise the residents of this city with paintings of beautiful landscapes as they literally live among this beauty. Their admiration is caught, though, by what Old Europe has lost. These are the personality of the creator, the hero spirit, and the courage to live and create in these difficult historical times.
The Renaissance once thrived in Northern Italy, but now its spirit emerges from the East of Ukraine.

We are living in an exciting time. War is like a genie that makes dreams come true but in a twisted way.
Here's our old video from when it was impossible for a self-respecting person to freely fight Kremlin henchmen with all types of weapons. In fact, it was prosecuted by law. But now, these parties are prohibited due to direct cooperation with the enemy.
It will take some time and historians will acknowledge that it's because of the actions of non-indifferent people, especially over the last 9 years, that Ukrainian society met the invaders not with flowers but with weapons in their hands.
We congratulate the entire movement, all those who risked their lives and freedom to make Ukraine independent and free.
So no, it all wasn't for nothing.

Today, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Unity.
In these photos, you can see Freikorps fighters from all over Ukraine: from Ivano-Frankivsk to Luhansk, who, despite different life paths, took up arms and became one family in flame of war with one true purpose - doing everything in their power for Ukrainian victory.
We wish all Ukrainians to remember about brotherhood, which is being actively demonstrated by our nation to the world for more than 9 years of bloody war, and to always help each other out, because this the way true nations are born.
